Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using TruthEdge, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use TruthEdge. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that doing so is lawful where you live, TruthEdge is not available in jurisdictions where accessing sports-picks or gambling-adjacent content is prohibited, and it's your responsibility to know and follow your local laws.

Platform rules for tipsters

Tipsters must post real, honest picks. Specifically:

• No fake, backdated, or fabricated picks.
• No attempting to manipulate stats, reviews, or the leaderboard.
• No offensive, hateful, or harassing content anywhere on the platform.

Picks are locked once their match starts and settled automatically once it ends, this isn't just a rule, it's enforced by the platform itself.

Pick integrity

Verified stats are the whole point of TruthEdge, so the rules protecting them are enforced by the platform rather than left to good faith:

• A pick becomes read-only at kickoff.From that moment its prediction, odds, stake, and match can no longer be edited, and the pick can no longer be deleted, by you or by anyone else. This is enforced in the database, not in the interface.
• Results are graded automatically from official match data. Tipsters cannot set or alter a pick's result, its verification timestamp, or the time it was posted.
• Published performance figures, win rate, ROI, total picks, and verified status, are computed by the platform from settled picks. They are not writable by tipsters under any circumstances.
• Every change is logged. Each creation, edit, and deletion of a pick is written to an audit trail recording who made the change and what changed.

Attempting to circumvent any of this, by calling our API directly, by using automated tooling, or by exploiting a defect, is a serious breach of these terms. If you find a way to do it, report it to legal@truth-edge.com rather than using it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a flaw in good faith and gives us a reasonable opportunity to fix it before disclosing it.

Platform rules for bettors

Bettors are expected to gamble responsibly and use the platform in good faith. This includes not abusing chargebacks to get free access to a tipster's paid content, subscription disputes should be raised with us directly first.

Payment and subscription abuse

Subscription payments compensate tipsters for content they have already delivered, so the following are prohibited:

• Chargeback abuse. Filing a chargeback or payment dispute for content you received. Raise any billing problem with us first at legal@truth-edge.com and we will refund you where a refund is warranted. A chargeback filed without contacting us may result in immediate termination and, where a tipster has already been paid, in recovery of the disputed amount.
• Multiple accounts. Creating more than one account to repeat introductory pricing, to evade a suspension, or to inflate any count on the platform.
• Account sharing. Sharing your login, or selling, renting, or otherwise giving another person access to your account.
• Redistributing premium picks.Republishing, reselling, forwarding, or systematically relaying a tipster's premium picks to anyone who is not a paying subscriber, including in private groups on other platforms.

Reviews and manipulation

Reviews and community signals only mean something if they are genuine. You may not:

• Write a review in exchange for payment, free access, or any other consideration, or offer such an exchange.
• Review your own profile through another account, or ask anyone to post a review they do not honestly hold.
• Use additional or coordinated accounts to inflate a rating, a reaction count, or any other public signal, or to push a competitor down.
• Coordinate with other tipsters to manipulate the leaderboard or to mislead subscribers about anyone's record.
• Send unsolicited promotional messages, repeated identical messages, or solicitations to pay outside the platform, through community chat or direct messages.

Reviews we find to be inauthentic are removed, and the accounts involved on both sides of the exchange are subject to the measures set out under Enforcement below.

Automated access

TruthEdge is built for people to use directly. Without our prior written permission, you may not:

• Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-download any part of the platform, including picks, profiles, reviews, and performance statistics.
• Use bots, scripts, or any other automated means to create accounts, post content, send messages, or interact with other users.
• Access our API other than through the TruthEdge interface, or build a product or service on top of data taken from the platform.
• Reuse our verified statistics commercially, or present them as your own or as originating from anyone other than TruthEdge.
• Deliberately place a disproportionate load on our infrastructure, or work around any rate limit, verification challenge, or other access control.

Payment terms

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. TruthEdge retains a 15% commission on each subscription payment a tipster receives; the remainder is paid out to the tipster's connected Stripe account. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.

All prices shown on TruthEdge are exclusive of sales taxes. Where TruthEdge is required to collect them, applicable taxes (such as GST/HST and QST in Canada) will be calculated based on your billing location and added to the amount charged, including on subscriptions that started before that requirement applied. Prices displayed at the time you subscribe are the pre-tax amounts.

Disclaimers

TruthEdge is not a sportsbook and does not accept wagers. We provide a platform for tipsters to share picks and for bettors to follow them, we are not responsible for any gambling losses incurred based on picks shared on the platform. Betting involves risk; please gamble responsibly.

Limitation of liability

TruthEdge is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TruthEdge and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including gambling losses, missed picks, or service interruptions , arising from your use of the platform.

Enforcement

Where we find a breach of these terms, we may take any measure proportionate to it, including:

• Removing the offending pick, review, or message.
• Withdrawing a tipster's verified badge, or removing them from the leaderboard and other public rankings.
• Restricting a single feature, such as posting, messaging, or accepting new subscribers.
• Withholding or reversing a payout connected to picks or subscriptions obtained in breach of these terms.
• Suspending or permanently closing the account.

Which measure applies depends on how serious the breach is, whether it was deliberate, and whether it has happened before. A person reviews every suspension and termination before it takes effect, never an automated system on its own. If we act on your account we tell you why, and you may contest the decision by writing to legal@truth-edge.com. Closing an account for a breach does not entitle its holder to a refund of the current billing period, and does not affect the right of that tipster's subscribers to a refund where one is due.

Account termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You can also delete your own account at any time from your settings.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
